Snake!!!

I have lived in the country for 2 ½ years now. I have run into taranchulas, possums, giant snapping turtles, mice, and rabbits, but never snakes. In the last week I have seen a bull snake and a rat snake. The bull snake I ran across while walking the dogs. Scared me half to death when my dog decided to put her nose on the snake. I'm thankful these snakes are more interested in getting away from us then fighting. The rat snake was climbing our carport to get to a bird nest. Can't say this is one of my favorite critters out here.
